Help us meet the matching challenge!April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and also the month when SAFER raises funds to support its free programs for students. This April, we are starting off with $1,000 in the pot already, thanks to the generosity of our board members. In addition, some of SAFER's long-time supporters have offered to match dollar for dollar the next $1,750 we receive. Please donate today to ensure your donation is doubled by our matching donors! Every $10 we raise is another free hour of support we can provide to students. Thank you! How to donate to SAFERPlease help us build a movement, and end sexual assault once and for all! We have truth and people power on our side, but we must have the resources to back it up if we are to organize a movement strong enough to stop the condoning of sexual violence and victim-blaming. SAFER depends on personal donations to support its work and day-to-day operations. Every gift to SAFER makes us stronger and more effective as we work to end college sexual assault. SAFER is a 501c(3) organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for helping us help others! sponsor a trainingEach SAFER Weekend Organizing Training and Teach-In costs us around $500 in costs for materials, travel, and payment for our Trainers. Most progressive student groups are drastically underfunded, and cannot cover these costs. SAFER performs trainings at no cost when students are unable to pay, leaving us with a significant loss. By sponsoring a SAFER training, you can help us bring our proven strategy to more of the schools that need it most. When you sponsor a training, you will receive photos and a testimonial from the students attending, as well as updates on their progress as they build a grassroots movement on their campus. To discuss sponsorship of a SAFER training, contact our Executive Director, Margaret Mikkelsen at (347) 293-0953.
