SAFER is helping out with the Sexual Assault Yearly Speak Out (SAY SO!) held every April here in New York. For 12 hours on April 20th, survivors and friends, advocates, and other allies will read survivor stories or stories about their experiences as advocates or supporters outside in Union Square. There will also be performances and other activities. The event is designed to raise awareness, and also to inspire people to get involved. If you’d like to participate, as a reader, writer, or volunteer please contact me at organizers@safercampus.org. We would especially love to have stories from folks in NYC, but everyone is welcome.

Try this on your campus
Take Back the News has a Community Print Project Kit to help you gather and publish stories from sexual assault survivors in your community. Looks like a good way to add to your campus campaign. Check it out.
Can you count the ways
This person gets it wrong? And how this one gets it right?
