SAFER faculty allies

If you are a faculty member and you would like to support students in your area working to reform their sexual assault policy, you can become a member of SAFER's Faculty Allies. Members are included in an electronic directory, provided to student organizers upon request, which enables them to contact you when they need help.

As a member of the Faculty Allies, your contact information will be made available only to students working for sexual assault policy reform. All requests for information are carefully screened to ensure that no one else will see this list of contacts. Your information will not be released to any other party, for any reason. Students may contact you for a variety of reasons: they may ask you to ask you to speak at an event, to serve as a faculty advisor, or they may just ask for advice.

Prominent faculty have proved instrumental in past student movements for progressive causes, from living wage activism to fights for ethnic studies departments and against unfair tuition increases. By adding your name to our list, you can offer similar help to students working against sexual violence.
