I’ve never been all that big on protests, but for those who are, NOW is organizing rallies outside of movie theaters across the country this weekend to protest the tacit acceptance of rape by all of the major Hollywood players who signed the petition against Roman Polanski’s arrest (including, by the way, Martin Scorsese, Natalie Portman, Stephen Soderbergh, Emma Thompson, and Harvey Weinstein).
